Strategies to effectively design and manage pharmacy benefits are becoming increasingly important, as the implications of these decisions affect health spending and health outcomes across large populations.
Our goal is to attract research that examines the impact of formulary management strategies on the utilization, cost, and quality of pharmacy services.

The American Journal of Pharmacy Benefits, the official publication of The Pharmacy & Therapeutics Society, seeks original research for a Fall 2010 theme issue on specialty pharmacy. This theme issue will present clinical and pharmacoeconomic information on all disease states under the specialty pharmacy umbrella (eg, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, oncology, etc) in an effort to help guide decisions to manage costs and improve outcomes.
